Blocs Community Forum Guidelines

Welcome to the Blocs Community! This is a space for creative collaboration, support, and discussion around web design and development using Blocs Website Builder. To keep things positive and productive, we ask all members to follow these guidelines:

1. Be Respectful and Supportive

  • Treat all members, developers and staff with kindness and respect.

  • Keep criticism constructive and focused on ideas, not individuals.

  • Harassment, trolling, repeated negativity, misinformation, rudeness or personal attacks are not acceptable.

  • Do not post anything obscene, hateful, sexually explicit or intentionally disruptive. Spam and vandalism will not be tolerated.

  • Help us keep the forum a positive and welcoming place for everyone.

2. Stay on Topic

  • Use clear titles and post in the most relevant category where possible.

  • Avoid cross-posting the same content in multiple topics.

  • Keep discussions focused on Blocs and web design.

  • Please avoid reviving inactive discussions that have been dormant for years.

  • Please avoid derailing threads with off-topic replies, repeated complaints or unrelated promotions.

3. Third-Party Promotion and External Links

  • Do not post content that is advertising a product or service that directly competes with products or services from Cazoobi Limited.

  • Forum discussions should remain constructive and should not be used primarily to promote competing products or make repeated negative comparisons intended to undermine Blocs.

  • Third-party developers should refrain from self-promoting their own products as a solution to a user’s problem.

  • Third-party developers should avoid directly promoting or linking to their own commercial websites, products or services within forum discussions.

  • External content (blog posts, videos, tutorials, and other media) shared on the forum, should primarily be related to Blocs and support, inform, or educate users. It should not be used solely to link/promote your website.

  • External content (blog posts, videos, tutorials, and other media) shared on the forum should not compare, or direct users towards competing products or services.

  • Within forum discussions, third-party developers may link to their products on the Blocs Store.

  • Please avoid using screenshots or tutorials primarily to promote competing software or external commercial services.

4. Respect Intellectual Property

  • Only share content you have the rights to use.

  • Please credit third-party code, assets, or templates when referenced.

5. Report Issues

  • If you see behaviour that violates these guidelines, please flag it or contact a moderator privately.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Posts or accounts that violate these guidelines may be edited, removed, or restricted without warning.

  • Moderators reserve the right to close discussions or take action where necessary to help protect the wider community and keep the forum constructive and welcoming for everyone.

  • Repeated or serious violations may lead to a permanent ban.

  • These guidelines may evolve as needed.
