It could just be the webserver, but at our company we have NGINX as a reverse-caching-proxy in front of our webservers. So it could also be the cache…
I had a similar setup once using Nginx as a reverse proxy on a VPS and the cache could be so weird that I always ended up with the same favicon for every new website.

This is something else I have had for weeks now. I receive an email notification from the forum saying there has been a reply. I click the link in the email to visit topic and hit a 404 error, but if I go directly to the forum and locate the thread the post is there.

I’ve been there a while ago, done that route (but didn’t get a T-shirt 
) Now I’m back on forum.blocsapp.com.
I am being redirected today but that is the first time I have noticed it. UK based via BT network
I was on discourse hosting earlier today with no images. Now returned to normal. Also UK based.
We have seen this before, think it’s something todo with our hosting provider. It usually settles within a few days. But I’ll keep an eye on it.
Yeah I had it very briefly yesterday too. Was back to normal in 5mins for me.
Just FYI: Still happening in St Louis, Missouri, USA area.
It’s been off and on for me. And then sometimes my phone is fine, but ipad is not LoL.
Eventually it will be sorted, it’s happened before.

I think you just answered your own question unfortunately. It’s very random though so hard to pin down.

Happened to me today, put up a post, image there… then not there.
Uploaded image again… no images.
Checked back, no images.
Checked again before sending this post, they are back again.
I wish there was a solution for this. Very frustrating.

I sure hope someone is working on this issue. I would fire the hosting company, personally.
